Christmas For Caring
The Neighborhood Alliance Christmas for Caring program started as a way to provide Christmas cheer and gifts for children enrolled in our Childcare programs. Over the years, it has expanded to include Seniors and Home-Delivered Meal recipients and, more recently, families in our Help Me Grow Home Visiting and Early Intervention programs as well.
This program is our single-largest “In-Kind” (donated goods) donation drive. We could not make this happen without the generous support and participation from our Lorain County community and corporate partners. Last year alone (2023), Christmas for Caring supported over 2,000 participants!
Donors can select from a variety of different holiday gifting options including Adopt a Child, Family Care Baskets, and Senior Care Boxes. During the donation timeframe, we also host a drive for smaller Stocking Stuffers.
Our Christmas for Caring program benefits those enrolled in Neighborhood Alliance programs.
