Visit our center to pick up a childcare voucher application. Our team can assist you with completing and submitting the application.

 

Rising Titans

What is the Rising Titans Collaborative?
The Rising Titans Collaborative is a community partnership focused on improving kindergarten readiness for children in Lorain through coordinated early childhood education and family support services.

What is a collaborative?
A collaborative is a group of community partners working together toward a shared goal. For Rising Titans, that goal is improving kindergarten readiness in Lorain.

Who leads the Rising Titans Collaborative?
Neighborhood Alliance serves as the lead agency for the Collaborative and functions as the fiscal and employer agency for the partnership. The Collaborative Coordinator is an employee of Neighborhood Alliance.

How is Rising Titans funded?
The Rising Titans Collaborative is funded by United Way of Greater Lorain County.

How can I participate in Rising Titans?
Families enrolled in a partner center/program or participating in our playgroups are considered Rising Titans families. To learn more about programming or partner enrollment opportunities, please contact the Collaborative Coordinator.

Path

What is the PATH Program?
PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) connects individuals experiencing serious mental illness and housing instability with mental health services, housing resources, and supportive services.

Does PATH only help with housing?
No. While housing support may be available for qualifying individuals, PATH’s primary focus is connecting clients to mental health services and supportive resources.

 

Shelter and Emergency Services

What is Shelter & Emergency Services?
Shelter & Emergency Services provides emergency shelter, crisis support, and housing stabilization assistance for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

Do you assist with utilities, rent, or security deposits?
Yes. Assistance may be available for working individuals or families experiencing a crisis or significant life-changing event.

How do I access shelter if I am homeless?
To access emergency shelter, contact the Coordinated Entry Line at 440-240-0455.

Do you accept donations?
Yes. We accept gently used or new items such as blankets, towels, washcloths, and new hygiene products including deodorant, shampoo, and conditioner.

Do you accept used clothing donations?
At this time, we are not accepting used clothing donations.

Family Enrichment Services

What is Family Enrichment Services?
Family Enrichment Services offers family support and early childhood development programming designed to strengthen parenting skills and promote healthy child development.

Can dads and grandparents participate in Help Me Grow Home Visiting?
Yes. Help Me Grow Home Visiting supports all primary caregivers, including fathers and grandparents. (Foster parents may receive parenting support through other designated service providers.)

Do you offer parenting classes?
No. Help Me Grow Home Visiting is not a parenting class. It is an ongoing, home-based parent support program for families with children prenatal through age 3. Parenting education is provided during home visits as part of individualized family support.
