Hello, my name is Laura Kraps and I am the Director of Operations at Neighborhood Alliance. In June 2010 I began working in the Early Intervention program and transitioned over to Help Me Grow-Home Visiting in 2014. With a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Intervention Specialist PK-3 from Ashland University, I have been able to apply my knowledge and understanding of child development to growing my skills in overseeing Ohio’s evidence-based parent support program here at Neighborhood Alliance.
My passion for working with children and families has evolved into something larger while working here at Neighborhood Alliance. Over the years I gained insightful learnings in various quality improvement programs such as Six Sigma, while shifting my desire in wanting to make an impact throughout the entire agency. In 2021 I became the Director of Operations where I am overseeing on-going maintenance of our physical locations, fleet of vehicles, technology and equipment along with building projects. The support of my compassionate colleagues and being a part of this dedicated team who share the same mission is what empowers me to continue this journey of helping our communities grow stronger.
