Hello, my name is Mark Charvat and I’m the Chief Financial Officer. I am responsible for all the financial and accounting functions at Neighborhood Alliance. I also work in tandem with our CEO in overseeing the Human Resource area and provide strategic input on operational matters. I focus on the administration of our accounting systems, cash management, financial reporting, and budgets. I feel I am gifted in strategic planning and creatively marshaling the resources needed to make Neighborhood Alliance’s vision a reality.
Prior to coming to Neighborhood Alliance, I spent 15 years as a CFO at a large, multi-unit Greater Cleveland non-profit. I also have 15 years’ experience in the private sector at small to medium-sized businesses, publicly traded companies, and airport/city government environments. I specialized in operational restructuring, financial management, human resources, and capacity building. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cleveland State University
As a Lorain County resident, I am passionate about the opportunity to work at Neighborhood Alliance and help those in my own community. I’m excited about the opportunity to bring lasting change to individuals, families, and society. Serving here does not feel like work; it is a privilege to steward our resources to make a difference in the lives of those who need our services.
