Ready to make a difference in Lorain County?
Why Neighborhood Alliance?
- The Haven Center is the only emergency mass shelter for families in Lorain County. There are only four (4) family rooms in Lorain County, and they are all at Neighborhood Alliance. In 2022 we hosted 344 Adults and 62 children.
- For Children and Families, we are the only contracted provider of Early Intervention Service Coordination and Evaluation services in Lorain County. We are currently serving almost 600 children.
- For Seniors, we deliver 2,500 meals to more than 600 seniors every week, in every community in Lorain County except one. There are currently 300 seniors on our Waitlist for home delivered meals.
- Altogether, in our Neighborhood Nutrition Kitchen we prepare, cook, and serve nearly 7,000 meals every week for seniors, shelter residents, children in our care and families in our programs. That’s more than 360,000 meals annually!
